King Lollipop Studio ("we," "us") builds playful native apps for iPhone and Mac, and runs kinglollipop.com. This policy covers our apps (Manna, Begat, Circletown, Sojourn, and Murmur) and our website waitlists for upcoming products. We keep things simple: your gameplay stays on your device unless you choose to share it.
What we collect
Our apps are designed to work without accounts. We do not run ads, sell data, or embed third-party trackers.
- On-device data — Game progress, streaks, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your iPhone or Mac.
- Manna social features — If you use friends, challenges, or standings, a display name, optional photo, and daily results may sync through Apple CloudKit so other Manna players can see them. You can hide results or delete shared data; email us for CloudKit deletion help.
- No analytics SDKs — We do not use Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK, or similar tracking frameworks in these apps.
- Crash reports — If you opt in to Apple's share crash data setting, anonymized crash logs may reach us through Apple's developer tools. We use these only to fix bugs.
- Murmur (Mac) — The design is for audio to be processed on-device, or sent to a cloud transcription provider only if you configure your own API key. We will not receive your dictated text.
- Website waitlists and beta signup — If you join a product waitlist or request beta updates on kinglollipop.com (for example Khipu alpha beta updates, Aegis launch waitlist, or Aegis Mac beta), we collect the email address you submit. We use it only for the list you joined: beta updates for beta signup, or launch/product updates for a waitlist. Emails are stored by our email provider, Buttondown; we label addresses by product and purpose (for example
aegis-betavsaegisvskhipu) so those lists stay separate. You can unsubscribe via the link in any of those emails. Do not submit an email address for a child under 13.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not show third-party advertisements.
- We do not require you to create an account to play.
Apple infrastructure
TestFlight and App Store distribution are handled by Apple. Apple's privacy policy applies to downloads, purchases, and TestFlight participation. We receive only aggregate download and crash data that Apple provides to developers.
Children
Our apps are family-friendly Bible games and stories. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently received such information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy as apps evolve. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
